This is the first of many blogs to thank our customers for their continued patronage, because we all know without great clients there wouldn’t be a Kaymor.
So how did we chose which client to write about? We didn’t because we’re going to focus on all our clients!!
Today we’re going to take a quick look at FMC Technologies Inc.
Who is FMC Technologies Inc you ask? They are a global leader of technology solutions for the energy industry, FMC Technologies Inc was named as one of the worlds most innovative companies by Forbes Magazine. Fortune Magazine named FMC Technologies the most admired Oil and Gas Equipment service company, ranking first in seven of eight key attributes measured by the magazine.
FMC began it’s roots in 1884 when, John Bean, invented a continuous spray pump for his almond orchards. Today they operate 30 production facilities in 17 countries.
They operate through three segments: Surface Technologies, Subsea Technologies and Energy Infrastructure.
We’re going to take a quick look at surface technologies:
This segment of operation designs and manufactures systems and services technologically sophisticated systems and products such as surface wellhead systems and high pressure fluid control equipment, to companies involved in land and offshore exploration and production of crude oil and gas. Kaymor is building a manifold skid assembly to hold surface wellhead equipment for FMC. The area in gray shows exactly what Kaymor is building. The skid is 60 ft long by 60 ft wide and will take about 720 man hours to build.
Not only is FMC Technologies Inc a great client, they also share,with Kaymor similar values and principles regarding their employees and customers.
