Kaymor Industrial Solutions is currently seeking talented new individuals to join our machine shop in Clairmont, AB which is located just outside of Grande Prairie, AB.  Kaymor was established in 2001 and is proud to support the Peace Region by providing Machining, Welding, Fabrication and Mechanical services.

We are currently looking for Machinists, Welders, Heavy Duty Mechanics, and B620 Tank Inspectors.

Machinist Positions

Machinists, Welders, Heavy Duty Mechanics, and B620 Tank Inspectors

Qualifications:

  • Registered Apprentice  or Journeyman Certificate
  • CNC Programming experience
  • Work with little or no supervision
  • The ability to work to tight tolerances
  • Read and Interpret drawings
  • Excellent communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Journeyman certificate or a registered apprentice in the Province of Alberta
  • Work with little or no supervision
  • Fabricating background
  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints

Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician

Our Heavy Equipment Technicians work out of town regularly at remote locations for extended periods of time. This position requires individuals to be on call.

Qualifications:

  •  Journeyman certificate in the Province of Alberta
  •  Experience with Cat, John Deere, and Hitachi
  •  Work with little or no supervision
  •  Valid Class 5 Drivers license with a satisfactory driver’s abstract
  •   Proficient with Cat and John Deere software
  •   Valid H2S, First Aid, TDG, WHMIS tickets
  •   The ability to diagnose, trouble shoot, and repair issues in mechanical equipment

B620 Tank Inspector/Tester

  • Extensive experience in TC 406, TC 407, TC 412, TC 350 and TC 44 units.
  • Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience and be able and willing to demonstrate inspection skills.
  • Interpret technical manuals, work orders and complete records.
  • Perform physically demanding duties such as heavy lifting, working underneath or on trucks, in cramped or awkward positions. Climbing on/off units and trailers.
  • Provide guidance, training and coaching to apprentices when necessary.
  • Test repaired components for performance and ensure that work done meets manufacturers specifications and legislated requirements.
  • Maintain a positive, safe, customer focused attitude.
  • Overtime may be required.

This is a full-time position in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
